Title
Engineering Pseudomonas putida via growth-coupling for production, biosensing and C1-fixation
Bio
Daniel Volke received his PhD from RWTH Aachen University (Germany) in 2017. Afterward, he started his Postdoc on diverse metabolic engineering topics in the host organism Pseudomonas putida at Systems Environmental Microbiology (SEM) group at DTU Biosustain. From 2021 to 2023, he was a tenure-track researcher in this group. Since 2023, he has been a Senior Researcher and the Co-PI of the SEM group. His work focuses on genome and metabolic engineering tool development in environmental bacteria as well as on enzymatic activity screening through growth-coupled assays and prototyping in cell free transcription and translation reactions. He has authored more than 36 publications (H-index:19).
